The firm has three departments
The firm can offer advice and assistance in connection with all aspects of buying and selling residential properties, both freehold and leasehold. We will deal with the whole process, right through to the move date, subsequently dealing with stamp duty and the Land Registry. The firm has held The Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation since November 2011.
Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney & Notary Public Services
The firm offers comprehensive, easy to understand advice dealing with the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney as well as offering sympathetic and efficient advice and help in dealing with the administration of an estate and ensuring the wishes of the deceased are implemented, including tax issues.
One of our partners is a notary public as well as a solicitor. This means that we can also now provide any notary services that may be needed in relation to transactions involving countries abroad. Notary work is separately regulated by the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury, rather than by the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority.
Family and Matrimonial
The firm offers full and constructive advice relating to all aspects of relationship breakdown, including divorce or judicial separation, division of family assets and contact and residence issues concerning children. The firm deals with matters in a constructive and non-confrontational way, aiming to achieve out of court settlement where possible.
